Markow Coffee company, is a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, started operations in the Turkmen market in 1994 and is currently the largest coffee producer in Central Asia.
The enterprise produces coffee under the trade mark “Markow”. This means that a full range of coffee products is now produced in Turkmenistan: 3-in-1 in variations such as classic, cappuccino, mocha, latte and hazelnut flavoured. In the production of this type of product, premium ingredients are used on a natural basis from Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, Turkey, Vietnam. We also use instant freeze-dried coffee, coffee capsules for Nespresso coffee machines, ground coffee for espresso and roasted coffee beans.
For the production of roasted coffee beans we use selected coffee beans from such countries as Indonesia, Ethiopia, Colombia, Brazil. The production workshops of the company are equipped with high-tech equipment from leading companies in Italy, Japan, China, Turkey. Our factory employs 40 people of professional specialists and this equipment allows us to process 90 tonnes of raw materials per month, and about 1000 tonnes per year.
Our company co-operates with the State Laboratory of the Central Laboratory for the analysis of products of Turkmenistan, which guarantees the high quality of our products. Today the plant has undisputed leadership in the region. Our technologists have been trained by Italian specialists in roasting coffee beans. Packaging is made of environmentally friendly and chemically neutral materials (paper, foil), so the penetration of extraneous odours into the product is completely excluded. The main requirement for the quality of coffee packaging is its tightness.
Our coffee packaging excludes the product contact with air and provides 100% preservation of its natural aroma, thanks to the presence of laminated layer the packaging gets additional strength and protection from damping. Coffee packaging bags with zip-lock and degassing valve provide optimal conditions for product storage and preservation of its flavour and aroma properties. Through the valve, excess air and moisture that can condense on the walls of the closed package as the roasted beans cool down are removed.
The company already supplies goods to Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
